Destiny: A Golden Game Review

Destiny is a massive combination of an FPS, MMO, Post apocalyptic, and RPG roled into one. The graphics are beautiful, everything is as close as it comes to reality in virtual reality. In Destiny, you're a Guardian protecting the Last City on Earth from the alien races that are the Hive, the Fallen, the Vex, the Cabal, and the Taken after the Collapse. The Hive are a filthy race that has been one of the major races of 2 out of 3 expansions. The Fallen are a race seperated by houses who took over Earth after the Collapse. The Vex are a race who can warp space and time to their will and have some of the most advanced technology in the Solar System. The Cabal are an organized alien army that rules over Mars and parts of Venus. The Taken are a mix of all these alien racesYou are going on an adventure on Earth, Earth's moon, Venus, Mars, Phobos(one of Mars' moons), the Reef(the home of the Awoken), Mercury, and the Dreadnaught(the capital of Oryx's command. There are certain areas that you can only access through playing Destiny's PvP mode, Crucible(Mercury, even though on only one mission you're able to visit Mercury). There are also certain areas you can only access through doing the story (Phobos, one of Mars' moons). Crucible is Destiny's PvP mode where you can go into a match with a Fireteam (except for Rumble) and go against other Destiny players and see who will come out on top. Overall, the PvP isn't all that great. From a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 6 since it needs some fixes before it becomes balanced. I would give the campaign a 8 since it's pretty fun going through the story and leveling up. Graphics get a 9 since they're pretty detailed and clear but can be blurry at certain times. The multiplayer is pretty decent but it needs a lot of changes to be the best and ideal multiplayer Destiny players have in mind so I give it a 6. Overall, out of 10 I give Destiny a 8 since Bungie needs to improve PvP and PvE quality.
